A new after-school club is forming here at David E. Smith Elementary!

It is the "Future Educators Club". This club will provide 4th and 5th grade students with the opportunity to explore teaching as a potential career, develop leadership and communication skills, and practice supporting others in learning.

Future Educators Club info:
Meeting Day: Every other Wednesday from March 11 to May 6th
Time: After school until 4:30 PM.
Who: 4th and 5th grade students
Opportunities for Students:
- Reading aloud to younger grade classrooms
- Assisting teachers or classrooms with bulletin boards and displays
